I am a multi-instrumentalist, teacher, musician, director, pianist, sousaphonist, business man, music producer, publisher, choir director, accompanist, side man, band leader, motivational speaker, and husband.  I am originally from Detroit Area but moved to Chicago in 2000.  I have built many bridges between Detroit and Chicago and have seen the seen rise and fall. 
I received my M.A. from DePaul University with Larry Novak as my mentor and make over half my living playing, composing, producing, and publishing music (Cigiol Publishing).   I have a strong back ground in Church/Gospel music and have served in the church since coming to Chicago.   I also am a freelance musician throughout the Chicago area as a pianist and sousaphonist with the Lowdown Brass Band.  .
